Privacy

Poll Position is a free college football pick'em for friends. It keeps only what it needs to run the game, and none of it is sold, shared for advertising or used to track you.

What we store

• Your username, and the first and last name you enter.
• Your email address. We use it only to confirm it's yours and to send password reset links. If you sign in with Apple, it's the address Apple shares, which can be a private relay address that forwards to you.
• Your password, stored only as a one-way hash. Nobody can read it, including us.
• If you sign in with Apple, an ID Apple gives us for your account, and a token that lets us disconnect Sign in with Apple when you delete your account.
• Your picks and weekly favorites, and when you made them.
• Season titles you win.
• If you turn on notifications in the iPhone app, a push token Apple gives us for your device, so we can send you reminders and results.
• A cookie that keeps you signed in.

What we don't collect

No ads, no analytics or tracking tools, no location, no contacts and no payment details. Scores and schedules come from public sports data, not from you.

Who can see it

Other players see your name, username, weekly favorite, standings and season titles. Your picks stay hidden until each game kicks off. Then everyone can see them. Your email is never shown to other players. The league admin can edit names, reset passwords and remove players.

Where it lives

Your data is stored with Supabase (database) and Railway (hosting), who store it for us and nothing else. Emails are sent through Resend. Notifications are delivered through Apple's push notification service, and Sign in with Apple is handled by Apple.

Deleting your data

Your data is kept as long as you have an account. You can delete your account at any time under Profile → Delete account. That immediately and permanently removes your account, your email, your picks and favorites from every week, your titles and your push tokens, and disconnects Sign in with Apple.

Children

Poll Position isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data.
